The Split Rail — four colorways, one signature design.

The Split Rail is a custom-built true swing-out garage door combining painted architectural millwork, natural wood, divided-light windows, and substantial traditional hardware.

Its defining feature is the Split Rail itself—a substantial horizontal rail separating the painted upper section from the wood lower section. The result is a distinctive American design that feels traditional without looking like a standard carriage-house door.

Choose from four carefully developed Blue Ribbon colorways:

No. 5 — Barn Red & Cedar
A rich heritage barn red paired with warm natural cedar and matte-black hardware.

No. 6 — Slate Blue & Oak
A muted slate blue paired with lighter natural wood and matte-black hardware.

No. 7 — Sage & Walnut
A sophisticated sage green paired with deeper walnut tones and bronze hardware.

Every Split Rail is built to order and sized specifically for your garage opening.

Starting at $6,995 for an 8' × 7' door.

Custom dimensions, wood species, glass options, hardware finishes, and other modifications are available by request.

Natural wood will vary in grain, knots, and color. Installation and freight are quoted separately.

Estimated Freight Delivery

Each Blue Ribbon door is professionally crated and shipped by freight. Shipping is not included in the door price.

If shipping is requested, you may place your door order first. After your order is received, we’ll calculate the exact freight cost based on your door size and delivery address and send a separate shipping invoice.
